Taken on a gloriously sunny day this photograph shows

a family member watching this once in a lifetime event

on Southsea seafront. Like other 1960's home camera snapshots the colour is badly faded, and it's spoiled by the spectator who happened to walk in front of the camera at the wrong time. Firstly the colour was adjusted to match what it would have looked like in 1968, then all of the unwanted figures in the foreground were removed, and finally the background was authentically recreated.

The finished image becomes a well composed photograph rather than a hastily taken snapshot, and

something well worth framing.
