Restoring Your Past provides a professional high quality print scanning service. Whole photo collections can be scanned, colour corrected, enhanced, and restored. Most high street digital photo labs will simply capture your image, supplying it back to you in it's original faded colour, and covered in dust and scratch marks.

Scanning images up to 1200dpi, colour corrected, and more noticeable marks and scratches removed.

Scanning images up to 1200dpi, colour corrected to original print manufacturer (ie, Kodak, Ilford, Fuji, etc), and the whole photograph cleaned of marks and scratches.

You specify the result that you would like from your prints, and I can suggest the optimum resolution, what sort of colour correction, and the file format for the completed image.
There are three suggested levels of service that I offer, but I can also quote for a mixture of different scans at separate resolutions and destined for any type of output, whether it's web publishing, digital or litho print.

Outstanding results from every image with accurate colour correction
The original images shown here were scanned at 600dpi, and have no colour correction. The final image has been colour corrected to match the original photograph, using filters that take into account the make of photographic paper, this produces a more authentic finished image.
