Colouring Antique Carte De Visite & Cabinet Cards

All of the examples shown below were taken between 1864 and 1890. The carte de visite (abbreviated CdV or CDV) was a type of small photograph which was patented in Paris, France by photographer André Adolphe Eugène Disdéri in 1854. Whether these are part of your family photograph collection or bought as wonderful historical images, once restored, enhanced and colour tinted, they make fantastic framed pictures.
